Ardnamurchan Charters - Wildlife Trips Loch Sunart on the West Coast of Scotland
Loch Sunart has many interesting sights & wildlife for you to enjoy....
Loch Sunart is a glacial sea loch 22 miles long, that winds in from Kilchoan in the west to the village of Strontian at the eastern head of the Loch. We run wildlife cruises from various locations, including Laga bay, Salen, Glenmore and our cottages on the island of Carna. On these trips you will see seals, porpoises, shags and many other sea birds whilst appreciating the beautiful landscape of Ardnamurchan and Morvern. Much of this scenery can only be seen from a boat, as there is no road access, and therefore is truly unspoilt wildlife haven. There are often eagles to be seen circling the peaks of Morven, red and northern divers in the secluded waters of Loch Teacuis and otters in the strong tidal waters through Caoll Carna.
2 or 4 hour cruises on the stunning & remote lochs of Sunart & Teacuis with ample opportunity for photographs and observation.
Wildlife and bird watching safari looking out for Golden Eagles and Sea Eagles, Red Throated Divers, Seals, Otters, Dolphins, Porpoise and lovely scenery!
See Ardnamurchan as you’ve never seen it before!
